Synopsis

Ali, you are gone. You don't wait any longer. Your papers, the publication of

our book, the months passed and nothing progressed. You were scared

to lose your head. So you decided to go back to Iraq and I'm staying

with my sadness and my anger. It shouldn't be a

privilege to settle here. You lived in our house and you

crisscrossed the city like anyone else. you had dreams

big as Belgium. A spirit constantly turning the

evidences. You had your place in the land of surrealism. Ali,

the absurd has become king and it's not even funny. And yet,

we had fun crossing paths and words

in Brussels, your favorite city. Your passage has left traces

that I want to show. For you, for all the Alis.
